Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StyloBot services provided by Mostlylucid Ltd, registered in Scotland, United Kingdom. By subscribing, you agree to these terms in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. The Service
StyloBot provides bot-detection and traffic-analysis software. The open-source detection engine is available free of charge. Commercial features (fleet management, live configuration, LLM escalation, and managed persistence) require a paid subscription.
2. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- One subscription covers one domain. Additional domains require additional subscriptions.
3. Subscription and Payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
- Prices are in USD and exclude VAT where applicable.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice.
4. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to commercial features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe or continue using the free open-source edition.
5. Consumer Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If the service does not meet these standards:
- You are entitled to a repair or replacement.
- If repair or replacement is not possible, you are entitled to a price reduction or refund.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to facilitate illegal activity.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent licensing controls.
- Resell or sublicense access without written permission.
- Interfere with other customers' use of the service.
7. Intellectual Property
The StyloBot open-source engine is licensed under its respective open-source licence. Commercial components, documentation, and branding remain the property of Mostlylucid Ltd. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the commercial features.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mostlylucid Ltd's total liability under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with reasonable notice where possible.
- On termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days, after which it will be deleted.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
