Refund Policy

This refund policy applies to paid StyloBot subscriptions provided by Mostlylucid Ltd, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. 30-Day Free Trial
All new accounts start with a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required. If the service does not meet your needs, simply do not subscribe -- you will never be charged.
2. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You retain access to commercial features until the end of the paid period.
- After the paid period ends, your licensed AOT binary fails open: requests pass through without paid policy enforcement and the binary stops applying licensed features. To keep self-hosting at no cost, export your config from the dashboard and switch to the FOSS
stylobotbinary, which runs the same 49-detector engine for free.
3. Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your first paid subscription. During this period you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.
If you have actively used the service during the cooling-off period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided, as permitted by the Regulations.
4. Refunds After the Cooling-Off Period
After the 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are available if:
- The service is not of satisfactory quality (Consumer Rights Act 2015, s.34).
- The service is not fit for a particular purpose that was made known to us (s.35).
- The service does not match its description (s.36).
In such cases, we will first attempt to remedy the issue. If a remedy is not possible within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or full refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Email [email protected] with your account email and reason for the request.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Periods where the service was available and functioning but not used.
- Charges arising from your failure to cancel before a renewal date, unless within the cooling-off period.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may seek resolution through Citizens Advice or the courts.
